Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2026-07-18
FastDocument aims to make its platform interfaces usable by everyone, including users with disabilities. This statement describes our accessibility target, the measures we take, known limitations and how to give us feedback.
1. Scope
This Accessibility Statement covers the fastdocument.net marketing site, the document upload and remote identity verification (KYC) flows served on brand-specific subdomains, and the administration panel used by business users. All of these interfaces are developed and operated by FastDocument.
FastDocument is a multi-tenant platform: if you upload documents or verify your identity as an End User at a Brand’s invitation, the interface you use carries the Brand’s visual identity but runs on FastDocument’s infrastructure and falls within the scope of this statement. Brands’ own websites and other channels are outside its scope.
2. Conformance Target: WCAG 2.1 AA
Our accessibility work targets Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. The platform is currently partially conformant with this target: a substantial part of the interfaces meets the relevant criteria, while improvement work is ongoing in other areas.
This statement is based on our own assessment; it does not claim an independent audit, certification or any formal conformance attestation.
3. Measures We Take
We treat accessibility as part of our design and development process. In particular, we pay attention to the following:
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background
- Keyboard operability of form fields, buttons and flow steps
- Meaningful labels on form fields and clear, understandable error messages
- Meaningful heading hierarchy and structural markup so that screen readers can interpret content correctly
- Interfaces that remain usable across different screen sizes and zoom levels
4. Known Limitations and Alternative Channels
Some steps in the remote identity verification flow inherently require visual and motion-based interaction: presenting the front and back of an identity document live to the camera, and following on-screen prompts during the selfie capture and liveness check, are examples. These steps may not be fully accessible to users with visual, motor or similar impairments. This limitation stems from the technical requirements of anti-fraud protection and cannot be entirely eliminated with current technology.
If you are unable to complete these steps, we recommend first contacting the Brand that invited you to the flow to ask for an alternative verification or document submission channel; as the process is carried out on the Brand’s behalf, the decision to offer an alternative channel rests with the Brand. You may also reach us via the contact details at the bottom of this page, and we will help relay your request to the relevant Brand.
The platform uses a small number of third-party components, such as bot protection; the accessibility of these components is determined by their providers and our control over them is limited.
5. Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the platform, we would ask you to let us know via the contact details at the bottom of this page. Telling us on which page or step the problem occurred, and which assistive technology you were using, if any, helps us understand and resolve the issue more quickly.
We assess reports within a reasonable time and, where feasible, include the necessary fixes in our improvement plan.
6. Statement Date and Review
This statement was last updated on the date shown at the top of this page. We review it at regular intervals and whenever significant changes that may affect accessibility are made to the platform.
