Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-18

FastDocument uses only the technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function; it does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. This policy explains which cookies are used, for what purpose, and how you can manage them.

1. What Are Cookies and What Does This Policy Cover?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used for purposes such as maintaining your session, ensuring security, or enabling basic site functions. Browser storage technologies that work similarly to cookies (such as localStorage and sessionStorage) are also covered by this policy.

This policy covers our main website at fastdocument.net, our administration panel (backoffice), and the document upload and identity verification pages served on Brand-specific subdomains on our platform.

On our own sites (the main website and the administration panel), FastDocument is the data controller. In End User flows on Brand-specific subdomains, the relevant Brand is the data controller and FastDocument acts as the data processor. In both cases, the cookies used are of the same class and consist solely of strictly necessary technical cookies; the exact set may vary by surface. For details on the processing of personal data, please refer to the Privacy Policy and the KVKK / GDPR Privacy Notice.

2. The Cookies We Use: Strictly Necessary Only

Our platform uses only the following technical cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary for the service to function:

  • Backoffice session cookie: Used to securely maintain the session of authorised users signed in to the administration panel. It is set only in the administration panel and becomes invalid when you sign out or when it expires.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile cookies and storage: Short-lived technical cookies and browser storage may be used during verification to protect our forms against automated (bot) abuse.
  • Infrastructure (Vercel) cookies: Short-lived cookies that the infrastructure hosting our application may set for technical purposes such as security and traffic management.

End User flows (document upload and identity verification pages) do not use a login-based session cookie; access is provided through signed, single-use links. None of these cookies is used to identify you, profile you, or track your behaviour.

3. We Do Not Use Advertising, Analytics or Tracking Cookies

Our platform contains no advertising cookies, analytics cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. No cookie data is shared with third parties for advertising or measurement purposes.

Under the KVKK and the GDPR, technical cookies that are strictly necessary for providing the service are not subject to consent. Because we use only this class of cookies, our site does not display a cookie consent banner. Should we ever start using a non-essential class of cookies, this policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be put in place before such use begins.

4. localStorage and Similar Technologies

We use your browser’s localStorage and sessionStorage areas only for technical necessities; for example, preserving temporary state between the steps of a multi-step upload or identity verification flow. No tracking identifiers or advertising-related data are stored in these areas, and the information they contain is not shared with third parties.

When you use your browser’s clear site data feature, these records are deleted as well.

5. Third-Party Service: Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect our forms against automated attacks and abuse, we use the Turnstile bot protection service provided by Cloudflare. During verification, Turnstile processes limited technical browser and device signals; this processing is aimed at distinguishing whether a request comes from a human or from automated software, and it is not used for cross-site advertising tracking.

Cloudflare is a global infrastructure provider; the technical signals processed during verification may therefore be processed on servers located abroad as part of the service. Details on international data transfers are set out in the Privacy Policy.

6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

All modern browsers allow you to view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. You can manage your cookie preferences in your browser’s privacy or site data settings.

Because all the cookies we use are strictly necessary for the service to function, blocking them may render certain features unusable: if the session cookie is blocked, it is not possible to sign in to the administration panel; if Turnstile storage is blocked, bot verification cannot be completed and access to our forms may not be possible.

7. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as the technologies we use or the applicable legislation change. The current version is always published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top reflects any changes. If a significant change expands the scope of our cookie use, this will be clearly stated in the policy.

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, you can reach us via the contact details at the bottom of this page.
